What we collect

Jess-I-Can collects information you choose to provide, such as your email address when you join the waitlist, request updates, contact support, or purchase The Adaptability Edit eBook. If you buy the eBook, payment and checkout details are processed by Stripe; we receive purchase records needed to fulfill the order, send the download link, provide support, and handle refund or access requests.

Site, security, and analytics data

We may process technical information such as request logs, IP address, browser data, CAPTCHA verification signals, checkout session status, download token status, and admin audit logs. We use hCaptcha to reduce spam and abuse. We use Google Analytics only if you accept analytics in the cookie banner. If you decline analytics, GA scripts are not intentionally loaded by this site.

How we use information

• To send waitlist updates, product announcements, and transactional emails.
• To process eBook checkout, delivery, download access, and support requests.
• To protect the site from spam, fraud, unauthorized access, and abuse.
• To understand site performance and improve the product when analytics consent is granted.
• To comply with legal, tax, accounting, and payment-processing obligations.

Service providers

We share information only as needed to operate Jess-I-Can. Current providers may include Stripe for payments, hCaptcha for bot protection, Google Analytics or Google Tag tooling if analytics is accepted, email delivery and mailbox providers for customer communication, hosting/database providers, Amazon for paperback purchases made on Amazon, and Discord or community platforms if you choose to join those spaces. We do not sell personal information.

Cookies and consent

Essential cookies or local storage may be used for site security, admin sessions, checkout completion, and remembering your analytics choice. Analytics storage is denied by default and is enabled only after you choose "Accept analytics" in the banner.

How long we keep information

We keep waitlist and email information while you remain subscribed or while it is needed to provide the service. Purchase, payment, support, download, and security records may be kept as long as needed for fulfillment, fraud prevention, legal compliance, accounting, dispute handling, and operational records. If you request deletion, we will delete or de-identify eligible data unless we need to retain it for those limited reasons.

Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any marketing email. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of your personal information. You can also ask questions about privacy or withdraw optional analytics consent by clearing your browser storage for this site and choosing "No thanks" when the banner appears again.

Children

Jess-I-Can is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
